got some killer ideas goin the other day. seriously killer. like, never been done before, killer. at least i think its never been done before. so the idea was that in constructing this book of poetry/fiction i can control the lens by shifting it like a spotlight to capture all the different aspects of the story. Like everything i write is different. well not so much different as variable. one minute ill be writing about personal psychosis and the next ill be writing about family life in a suburb segregated along economic lines and the next ill be writing about teh sublime and super nature. and the thing is its all different but its all the same neighborhood. the houses might look different and different ideas might live in them but theyre still in the same county in the same state in the same country. my country.
ever seen the maxx? my work is like taking the idea of the outback and making that the only sense of reality. and what makes it cool is that each chapter will be named for its address in the state, county, city, street. so like the story about the mother whose children have left home and who miscarried on her last attempt to have a kid would be named 206 Peargrove lane.
okay, not as awesome as it sounded in my head, butjust think about it! its got some potential right? potentiometer giving off good signals, no? no? seriously? damn, the drawing board calls.
